How do I leave him??

My son is 5 weeks 1 day. I always planned on going back to work after 12 weeks- partly because I want to and partly because I don't have much of a choice. But lately he's been so colicy and the pediatrician just prescribed meds for acid reflux. Now lately the idea of leaving him to to back to work is getting harder and harder to cope with. Not to mention I've been struggling with PPD. I just feel so hopeless and helpless and it seems like no one gets it.

I had to get medicated to leave my first.  I'm taking an extended leave with my second. Just make sure you're 100% comfortable with your child care. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat as you, it's so incredibly hard to think about leaving my little one but try to remember in a way it'll make you a better mom. Every one needs a little space, and it'll only make the love and bond between us and our children stronger.

You still have more than half of your leave remaining. Yes, you are going to leave him, yes it's hard. It's the hardest thing I've EVER done. I've done it twice and have to face doing it again! But, I'm not thinking about it. Not till closer to the time. I don't want my entire leave to be filled with the dread of leaving this baby. So try to live in the moment, take care of your babe AND yourself, take naps while you can and get all the baby cuddles possible for 7 more weeks.
