Mirena

So I just had my Mirena IUD placed yesterday and I've been having cramps on and off since then. It was a very painful procedure since I've never gave birth before. I'm just wondering how long the cramps usually last and if I should be worried. Also, how long should I wait until it's okay to have sex ( I know I have to wait a week for it to become effective)... oh and my partner has a pretty big sized penis. I'm worried that he will be able to feel my strings 😱😱😱
