Is it positive?

So I took a prego test last night and it came out negative. I put the cap back on until I could throw it out later. This after mood while throwing it out I noticed it went from negative to positive. Am I positive?

The answer is the same.
Tests are only valid in the time frame. If it is negative at time of test. .it's negative.  Anything after that is invalid.

Nope, a test will tell you within a few minutes, it won't decide late that it was wrong. They go bad after x amount of time. If you take the time to read the insert it will give you all the info you need.

Not sure why people are being rude, but I also didn't see the original post. Pregnancy tests have time limits on when you can read them, because after a certain time, the urine dries on the test strip and creates what is called an Evap line. It looks like it could be a positive, but it's not, and can cause women to get frustrated, so they put the time limit on there to avoid it all together. However, if your period doesn't show up on a few days, I would retest and make sure it's a negative, because a false negative is much much more common than a false positive. Good luck!
