Doctor's Pregnancy Test?

Hi All,

Just wondering how long it took you to receive a positive on a doctors pregnancy test? I have got 6 positives on home tests (different brands) but went to the doctor and got a negative result. My period is due today! I have been testing positive on home tests for the last 4 days.

Mine did when I went for mine. I told them they better do blood because their is no way I have 5 tests at home saying pregnant but yet I'm not. I'd ask for a blood test don't wait because you never know what kinda pregnancy it is.

If you're testing positive at home just make a prenatal appointment for around 8-10 weeks and go about your life until then. Home tests aren't any different than a urine test at the doctor, your urine was probably diluted.

Ive been pregnant three times and never have I needed to go to the doctor to confirm what a home test told me.
