when do u need a crib ?

I co-sleep with my daughter, she's 5 months now. My husband lives in another country so I go back and forth. At what age will I definetky need a crib?? We are on a tight budget and I can't buy two cribs.And for those who didn't buy a crib, until what age was your LO sleeping beside u?

I know that the American Association of Pediatrics recommends co-sleeping until the age of one because of SIDS. As for when to purchase a crib, do it whenever you think it is time to. My daughter sleeps beside me in her Halo Bassinest and she will be six months soon and unfortunately that's the suggested time to transition her to something else. I'm really dreading putting her in her crib because I think it'll be a challenge. I would love for her to bed share but my husband moves too much at night. Maybe I'll stick him in the crib and she'll bed share with me 😂
