Did any of you ladies bruise from gonal f injections?

Just started stims last night for the first time for my IVF cycle and I bruised almost instantly after the gonal f injection. I read this can happen. Anyone else have this happen?

Ohh yess girl ! That was my least favorite injection and I had the follistim pen. Put lots of ice ice ice 🧊! Ice before ice after ice always?!

I only bruised once during my stims. I had 5 injections a day (2 in AM 3 in PM). Every day I would alternate sides. When I was bruised, I avoided the immediate area surrounding the bruise. It went away and I never had problems after that. I did not bruise with gonal f.

When I froze my eggs I had to do multiple shots daily since they told me I was basically going halfway through ivf, just instead of using the eggs, I was freezing them. I had almost constant bruising since all shots were in the same basic location (near belly button area.)

I’ve done 7 days stim med but I didn’t have any bruise at all. I guess I should stop complaining my hubby for poking me. Good luck all!

yup almost done with first cycle of ivf and i got two bruses my cousin is a MA she said i hit a blood vessel thats why it turned purple.

I only bruised with one shot, must have hit a blood vessel. It didn’t hurt, just looked terrible. I used arnicare cream (a homeopathic rub that helps with pain and bruising), it was gone in a few days.

Yep... I've done 3 rounds of IVF. Bruised every time.
