where did all the ethical family lawyers go?

Last year I paid an attorney $30K to fight my sex offender ex husband on visitation. We won and he recieved a 25 page court order with mandatory assessments and court orders. Now I'm pro se and can't get his attorney to respond to me regarding the status of the evaluations. My pervious attorney wants payment in full to answer any questions . Ugh this is awful why does the good one always suffer. Who the hell can hand over 30k? I'm already paying 500 a month.
