Disappointing SO

Is anyone else's SO not at all how you thought they'd be as a parent? I know it sounds harsh, I guess, but Jesus. He's so uninvolved. Seriously like nothing has changed about his life. He still goes about doing whatever whenever. Acts like he's doing me a huge favor if he watches him for an hour or 2.

At first (and occasionally still) it pissed me off. Now I'm just like, well that's your business if you want to miss out. I'll be over here getting to know our baby. One day our son will 5 and you'll have been minimally involved and wonder where the time went or....maybe you wont.
