What size are you buying...

Question

Those of you who have started doing a little shopping for baby clothes, what sizes are you buying?  It will basically be fall and going into winter when we have our babies so I am trying to pick up cold weather gear while its on sale/clearance. Children's Place is having a great sale. Belk has an extra 50% off of their clearance until Monday. I was able to find a couple of gender neutral onsies for my baby and I picked up a few things for my sister in law, she is having a girl. Girl clothes are so easy to find!  Also, Old Navy has a sale right now.

I bought a few things yesterday. A couple newborn things, and then some 0-3 and 3-6 warmer outfits. I'm trying to buy a little of everything but really trying to hit up the sales on winter clothes because my baby shower will be in the middle of summer and I have a feeling we will be getting a lot of summer clothes even though he won't really be wearing them haha

I'm not finding out gender so I've started buying now. Cause I know it'll be a challenge to find gender neutral stuff. Plus I like to only buy what's on sale. And most stuff is pink or blue lol. I just want some stuff to get me through the first few months. I certainly don't wanna be shopping Sept-Dec for baby clothes.  So I've gotten 1 newborn set of onesies. And I got great deals on 3 and 6 mos stuff at Kohls.  Some thanksgiving and Christmas stuff even!  I'm just gonna browse here and there and grab stuff while I'm at the store.

Had a hard time finding bottoms though 🤔 like it'll be dead of winter why do onesies have no matching bottoms?!? Lol. I know in the house they can rock that but they need pants in wintertime if you go out.  Kohls was very limited on any kind of pants. I guess I should just get those one piece outfits that would work.

Both of my babies (now 1 & 3) were right around 7 lbs 5 oz. I got a little over zealous buying newborn sized clothes for both of them and the clothes only lasted a month, lol. So I would say 3 mo sized or larger is your best bet. A ton of our shower gifts came in newborn size, so that definitely covered a lot. I have a son and daughter, so I'm not buying much this time around. Probably will buy a little though once we find out the gender! 😊😎
