Aspen is a name that doesn't need a nickname, in my opinion. It takes the same amount of work as saying "Penny"

My daughters name is Aspen Penelope! Occasionally we call her penny but we usually always stick to calling her Aspen! It's such a strong name that I don't want to get lost behind a nickname!

Well, def not ass, lol. Then pen sounds weird. Penny would be just as long as Aspen. Asspy? I dunno... But to be honest, I think Aspen is awesome and wouldn't think it needs a nickname. Maybe just saying "A" if you are adamant about having one?
