HELP! TTC and Late! Need Advice!

So we're ttc and had a lot of sex during this cycle. My period is late by 2 days and I've had bfns for the past week. I've taken early response tests and regular cheapies off of amazon. I always test in the morning but I get up and use the bathroom frequently in the middle of the night so I don't know if that would affect my hug levels in the morning. I'm also not sure how many dpos I am or even when I ovulated because I just bought my opk to try this next cycle. Do any of you think it's still too early to show up on a pregnancy test? Do you have any test taking tips either?
