Contractions or Braxton hicks?

I know you are supposed to pay attention to this type of stuff but I am the worst at remembering. CN anyone tell me if there is an app for the later part of pregnancy that can walk you through the odd pains and contractions. Thanks

It's hard to tell because everyone's body is different. But my doctor said you'll know when you're having real contractions. My Braxton Hicks are painful, it's hard for me to move, and they're ever 2-5 mins lasting from 1 min to 3 mins but I can still breathe through them. So it will depend on your body.

Not sure about an app my but doctor told me that real contractions will be hard to breathe or talk through. Braxton Hicks can have period like cramps but nothing too horrible. Mine I have cramps before my stomach tightens. She also said if you're having them every 5 mins and they last about a minute each to go in.
