Daddy Bag?

Has anyone else put together an extra baby bag for dad; for use after baby is born. I have a spare masculine looking diaper bag laying around and I'm wondering if it's worth putting dad his own bag together. Anyone with experience, was it useful? I go straight back to work after baby is born so there will be a lot of baby juggling going on

If your a wallet = purse person and won't have anything in the diaper bag that's going to have to be rearranged to hand it off then it's not necessary. We've always had one diaper bag and passed it off amongst all caregivers. In the very beginning we always packed spare shirts for each of us, but that's about the only 'extra' thing we lugged around for the simplicity of one bag. Just remember it isn't about getting stocked up one time. It has to stay stocked up.

I got myself a back pack diaper bag and the husband ordered himself a daddy tactical diaper bag. He's banned me from using it lol!

I bought SO a captain America backpack to use as his own diaper bag. He said the one I got was too feminine and he wanted one for daddy daughter dates.

We got 2 diaper bags so dad will have one to keep in his truck

I have an extra diaper bag but not going to be putting it together unless I find a need for it..I'm not keeping personal items in the main diaper bag so don't see it being a problem whichever parent needs the bag. Just one less thing to worry about.

My hubby will have his own diaper backpack, in masculine colors for when he needs to take our daughter without me...my diaper bag is a purse style.

We are. Thankfully the hospital gives us a pretty masculine messenger diaper bag, so that'll be hubby's bag. It also makes it so much easier to not have to always worry about transferring the bag when you hand over the baby.

My hubby will def have his own since mine will probably end up doubling as my purse a good deal of the time!
