I Got My Mirena Inserted On January 30th &&' I've Been Spotting ( Mostly Brown ) Till This Day. I've Noticed When I Work Out Or Have Sex I Bleed But I Don't Have Any Pain Or Discomfort At All. But This Week My Spotting Started To Get Barley Noticable And Very Light (Still Brown) . I Had Sex With My Bf Last Night &&' I Started Bleeding. The Blood Was Light Pink And This Morning When I Wiped The Blood Was Brown Again. My Period Is In 7 Days Maybe That's Why I Bled A Little Last Night After Sex ? Has Anyone Else Had This Problem? Do You Think I Should Be Worried ? I Have An Appointment March 6th To Check My Strings

I got mine a little over a week ago and there's been brown spotting the past 2 days, I think it's normal and will disappear later!

When my Mirena was put in I bled heavily for a month and a half afterward. The cramping and back pain was so bad that I was taking my pain medication I got when I had my wisdom teeth out. I did nothing but lay on the couch with a heat pack.

I've had Mirena for two years and for the first year about I was very irregular and then things sorted out and I know what to expect now. I had very similar things happen to me in the beginning.

I got mine put in December and I spotted on and off for about a month. I wouldn't worry to much. Now I don't get my period at all, just some PM's/cramping when it's suppose to come. I'd just monitor and talk to your gyno if your super concerned

No need to worry!! i've had my mirena for around 3 months and i had the same thing with the bleeding. I does eventually go away and then every once in a while i spot a little
