stay home or work?

My husband would like me to stay home now so we can get used to one income, my money is "fun money" right now so we aren't saving any of my money, just his. I am currently 3 months pregnant. Thoughts???

Still work but act like you don't have it and set it back for emergencies only or a babies piggy bank for later. I'm a freaking gopher with money I'll stash it so well I forget about it and accidentally find it later when we are broke broke n out of everything. I found 40 inside a decorative ceramic egg I stashed once when I was out of all soaps n needing diapers. And another time I only found a couple dollars said fuck it it's not enough for anything hubby doesn't know I'm gunna treat myself n go get a soda well I got my soda n had enough for a dollar scratcher and said ehhhhhh why not I'm broke anyways maybe I can win something I won 35 bucks off a dollar scratcher I was so happy n lucky

I'm a stay at home mom I finished dental assistant school about 1 month before I found out I was pregnant and we decided on the income I would bring in it wasent worth it because over half would be going to a daycare and I wouldn't be able to be there for all of our babies first accomplishments! My LO is now 10 months and I have enjoyed every min of it!

I'd work until baby comes and save your money for baby expenses! Even if you just worked part time you could still save a couple thousand dollars or more for diapers, clothes etc. Being a SAHM is an adjustment and you can do it on one income most if the time. It just requires some creative budgeting.

I'm not one to stay home. I like my money, my life, my everything. I tried staying home with my second child and I was miserable! On the flip side my sister does child care and I don't have to worry about day care.

I am staying home for the first three years as daycare would suck up my whole pay check.  
 
We figured this way I will pitch in more to save money, and also spend more one on one time with the baby.  I am planning on keeping up my hobby job (card and paper making), but otherwise I will focus on home and family.
 
It will be odd as I love working, but we figured this is best for US right now ☺
