fertility questions.

Ladies, my husband and I have been actively trying to conceive for 12 months now, but been off any forms of contraceptives since July 2015.  I feel like it is time we should see a fertility specialist but not sure if this is the case? I have had ultrasounds previously to check for endometriosis, and I'm clear. I know everyone's cases are individual but what are other forms of infertility and what are the symptoms? Could you please share your stories of diagnosis and your experiences with a fertility specialist? Thank you x
