dokatot in bassinet?

I have a halo bassinet and have seen online that people have put the dokatot in the bassinet but on the dockatot website it says it's not for use in bassinets or cribs. I'd like to try it but now I'm not sure after reading that even though it seems a lot of people do it. Does anyone has theirs this way and if so have you found a reason for it to be unsafe?? Thanks!
