Do you ever feel this routine is so monotonous?

I love staying at home taking care of my baby. I'm so glad I'm not going to work full-time anymore. But do you ever just think, "OMG this is my life now - feeding and changing diapers, feeding and changing diapers..." It's so monotonous and routine. I'll make myself nap when he naps, too, and yet try to figure out when to do laundry and dishes also. But really, I feel like my brain is turning to mush because it's really kinda boring if you think about it! lol. Oh well.

Yes! I Try to find us at least one activity outside of the house once a day even if it's just walking around a store or going for a drive just something to break it up. There are some days when I feel like im loosing my mind for sure

Yes. I went from being a litigator to what often seems like a milk cow 🐄. My 20 week old son is soo sweet and pleasant, i cannot complain. But, sometimes i feel like all i do is pump, wash pump parts, feed, change, and wash bottles. I dont have friends or family nearby. Ive made it my mission to know employees at my local grocery 😌. I read this App for entertainment and mild support!

I never knew parenthood and SAHMs were such difficult jobs.

My son is only four weeks but I've found that researching all things baby and development and doing online shopping (I'm pretty much set clothes wise until he turns 1!) has really helped! It also means that when he is finally awake, alert and not just wanting to eat, I know what activities we can do to pass the time. I've also written up an exercise program so once I'm given the all clear I can get straight into it:) when I'm too tired to shop and research, I catch up on movies and Netflix:p all the best!!

I struggled with ppd after the birth of my son and what made it worse was the sudden plan of me being a sahm. I finished my degree when he was six months old and still haven't done anything with it, as now I have a six month old daughters. I felt like it was all for nothing and the money I did spend on it was wasted since my goals were either postponed or completly abolished. I had never imagined I'd stay at home to raise kids as my parents had it tough when I was a baby and it really hit hard for 2 1/2 years. Only recently have I started to feel like this is what I am meant to do for a while so my children can thrive and get off to the best start I can give them. Once I got back into working out and meditating I let go of the resentment and stress that I was holding and I feel better. Yeah I don't get to read, paint, game or do the things I used to but it won't be forever and I'm enjoying the precious moments I have with my kids before they grow out of this always with mommy stage. Do what makes you happy and clears your mind and always remember to talk to others too, venting will always help! ❤

Yes. I go over to my parents' like twice a week because sitting in front of the tv at home alone is so depressing. I will go to meijer or the mall and walk around just to get out of the house. I'm trying to find a 2-3 day a week job also.

Yes, I have 5 and I feel like my days inner fold bc there is never really any change up in my days & I literally have no friends. Thankfully my husband takes me out on the weekends and for little stupid store runs just to give me a reason to get out and breathe fresh air lol.

I got so bored, I was nearing depression. Like daily crying bc my world got so small. I went back to work on Monday (I work remotely) and I feel like I just got a raise. lol. My mindset is 10000% better. Is there something you can do from home that fulfills that ambitious woman side of you?

I'm torn I wish I could stay home with my daughter it would be a privilege, but to many other people depend on me too. Congratulations if your able to stay home with your baby!
