Pregnancy congestion?

I have had a runny nose and now sore throat for a week. Throat is so bad that I am going to see the doctor. I read about having a runny nose from being pregnant and the increased blood supply. Anyone else experiencing this? I don't know if the sore throat is a virus or from the nasal drippings. I didn't have this with my first pregnancy.

I'm not taking any meds but the pain is terrible.

I also have been stuffy for a few days and my throat just started getting sore yesterday. It's not bad enough to be strep or anything so I'm just trying to deal with it and see how it goes. There are a lot of colds and such going around right now. Hope you feel better!

I've had a lot of congestion for the past week and a half but not exactly a sore throat. Sometimes it feels a bit raw/irritated when I wake up in the morning but seems to subside by mid day.

With my first pregnancy I had horrible congestion through the whole first trimester. Try some saline nose spray, it's safe for you to use and may help.

I've been congested for about 2 weeks now, figured I was getting a cold; my throats feels a little raw but I think that's the nose drip issue and dry cough from that! Sleeping has been irritating from the coughing right when I get comfy!
