ingrown hair? smell? shaving?

Okay so I've come on here for some serious help. I don't really have any females around me that can help me out. So I've been getting a lot of ingrown hairs on my vagina and they hurt. Any way I can make them go away? And what kind of electric shaver/trimmer would be best? I'm done using the razor and I've heard that the trimmer would be best. ALSO, what can I do about a smell down there? I've noticed it smells a bit tbh. Not like a very bad odor but it's noticeable by me. When I shower I use water and a little bit of soap to wash down there. I don't put soap near the opening or anything. The smell usually doesn't come until like after I've had discharge or sex. Usually after sex I wipe it. But would it be best to shower after or use some wet wipes? I don't know.

Use coconut oil after showering! It will soothe your skin and it's an anti-bacterial, so kills bad bacteria that can cause an unpleasant smell. It's really good for your pH balance. Also, all natural soaps like Dr. Bronners mentioned above. I use African Black Soap and it's awesome.

Hey girl! I'm sorry to hear you're going through these things. We as women go through so much with our bodies lol! I would recommend starting to wax. I was prone to ingrowns when I started shaving so a friend suggested waxing. It's the best! It can be painful, but its brief and quick. And you only have to wax every 4 weeks or you can go longer once you have been waxing for a little while. For the smell issue, I personally haven't had this problem, but I have been using summers eve gentle vaginal wash for years and it makes you feel fresh and smells great! You can get it at almost any drug store, Walmart, or target. This soap is especially made for your lady bits so don't be afraid to get in there. It doesn't burn or anything. Hope this helps 😊
