Kind of pads?

What brand or kind of pads did you use for post partum bleeding? Did They work good?

It depends person to person, but I only bled heavily for the first few days to a week. I stocked up on the pads they gave me at the hospital to bring home and wore those a couple days after being home. 
 
Then I transitioned to always infinity overnight pads, and a day or two later I was in the regular always infinity. These three worked great for me, I never bled through them and the always infinity brand is the comfiest brand of pads I've dealt with.

I loved the hospital pads! I also had a 2nd degree tear so I had the foam and hemorrhoid pads! After that I used Always over night. Might try kotex though because the always do stick to my skin and get irritating. Thought it was because I normally use tampons...

Hoping I don't tear with this second one!

Hate the hospital ones. I used "stayfree". The overnight ones work really well too. I hate always. They seem to stick to my skin & also leaked.

I had to have stitches with my first and the hospital had the best pads! They had ice pacs in them, amd they were amazing!!

I like Kotex. For some reason the Always pads irritated my skin post partum even though I used them for my regular period. After a few days of the always my skin felt burny, I couldn't figure out why and neither could my dr, I switched pads and the burning went away.  The Kotex is also softer and less scratchy.
