Anyone studying with their little buddy?

Is anybody in this group in school while pregnant?! I'm nearing my second-last year and omg is biology ever destroying my brain.. study tips anyone?! I've tried asking my prof if I can use a simple word bank without definitions just to jog my memory.. NOPE! Jerk 😪 he doesn't get it anyway

I know how you feel! I graduate in may and I'm taking 18 hours, I can't seem to remember a lot of things and I don't have motivation to wake up go to class lol (from 7:30-4pm). However, I do it because I want a better future for my baby and I know a lot of moms who do it + a kid, so I know it's not imposible and that's what keeps me motivated to finish my bachelors ☺ just think that by the end of this semester, you can get ready for your baby's arrival 😉

I'm not in school anymore (left 15 years ago!) however in my final year, I couldn't go to school due to disability and a butt-load of medication I was on. I couldnt concentrate and my memory was a complete write-off.

I had 1 hours home tutoring per day, and my tutor taught me a trick which seemed to get me through my exams.

If you are having difficulty remembering a word or meaning, come up with little rhymes, or similar words that remind you of that word. For example, there's a couple I still remember (not science based im afraid);

• 'Egypt' = Eee Gee Why Per Tee (a don't know why, but it worked!)
•'rhythm' = Rhythm Has Your Two Hips Moving (first letter of each word)
•'beautiful' = Mrs B, Mrs E, Mrs A.U.T, mrs I, Mrs F.U.L (again, no idea why it worked but it did)

I still, to this day, sing these in my head to remember how to spell these words.

Another trick, which works for biology class if you have a dirty mind (😉) is to associate scientific words with a similar dirty word; the obvious one being 'Organisms/Orgasms' - JUST REMEMBER TO WRITE THE CORRECT WORD ON YOUR PAPER!! 😂

Im working on my Masters and wont graduate until December 2017. Unfortunately, the program doesn't offer any breaks even after the baby is born. Its been rough but i dont even want to think about what the next 9 months will be like!!
