s/o sexual history

I can't get over my partners past sexual history. He is straight but he had an experience with another guy and I have the hardest time getting over it. I constantly think about it and worry about it. He said it was completely meaningless, he was very high, did it because he was bored, and regrets it. But I just don't know how I can move on with it. Please offer up advice
