My story

Andrea

My SO and I have been TTC for just under a year and a half. I have PCOS and after a year with no luck, I saw a reproductive endocrinologist. In addition to PCOS, we just learned that I have a unicornuate uterus - Only one side of my uterus developed and I only have 1 fallopian tube. I have 2 ovaries, but without a fallopian tube on one side, my best chance of getting pregnant will be when I ovulate on my right side.

So in hopes to get me ovulating, they put me on Letrazole. I didn't ovulate the first time so they gave me a higher dose in the beginning of February. I went in to the office on Valentine's day for an ultrasound to see if I had a follicle ready. They said that it looked like I'd ovulated (bloodwork to check my hormones confirmed I did) and that I'd timed sex appropriately. My uterus was also very thick. This was supposed to be my 2 week wait - If I didn't get my period by 2/28, take a test.

Well, I started my period yesterday. I really thought this might be it... I feel like the bleeding is much too heavy to be implantation bleeding - Is it silly to still want to take a test?
