trying to conceive

My period was due on 2/16 and it still isn't here yet... I've been having really bad cramps for the past two days. Could that be a sign of pregnancy., I took two pregnancy test already.. one on 2/17 and the second one on 2/21 and they were both negative.. can I still be pregnant but maybe my hgc levels are not high enough to get a positive pregnancy test?
