My SO went to Las Vegas without me.

My boyfriend had planned a family vacation to Las Vegas for his cousin's birthday before we started dating. Now that we're a couple his family asked him if he was planning to take me with him. He first said that if I go he'd have to "babysit me." (I'm very shy btw) 😔 which obviously didn't make me feel good. And then, that it was only for the cousins... but some of them were taking their wives and girlfriend.

I know he doesn't have to take me everywhere he goes... but I thought It'd be the perfect opportunity to make some memories together and for his family to get to know me. 

I didn't have the money to go anyways, so I didn't. I guess I just wanted him to want me there.

How would you feel if you were in the same situation?
