The Nexplanon Implant, Help please!

So I've had the implant for about 7 months now and before i got it i was on the pill, on the pill i didnt really have any difficulties everything was good i just forgot to take it at the same times somedays. I liked the idea of being in control of when i took it and that i could stop any time. With the Implant i find myself bleeding irregularly and everytime my boyfriend and i try to have sex my vagina is in horrible pain. It gets really red and often times swells up and burns, i thought i was allergic to latex so we stopped using condoms and just recently got the non-latex kind. (I have not used them yet) Im confused on what to do and if the birth control could be affecting my vagina in this way at all, Help please!
