implantation bleeding

TTC for 4 months now & AF is supposed to show up next week. However, two days ago I experienced some spotting. I was really sad thinking AF came early. I spotted a little bit yesterday as well, but ended up pulling out a dry tampon with a tad bit of brown blood. Then last night and this morning, I have absolutely nothing. No bleeding at all. I do not feel like that was my period.

Obviously I google everything, and it sounds just like implantation bleeding, which is an early sign of pregnancy. I'm trying not to get too excited, but ahhhh I hope so! Did anyone else experience this??
