Triplet Mamas?

Anyone on here have a natural birth with triplets? My OB says that despite all four of us being healthy I absolutely have to have a C-section. I'm really scared to be cut open, and worried that I won't get to hold my babies right away. I really want the experience of skin to skin bonding right after they're born. And what if them being taken to the NICU affects their ability to breast feed?

I'm 24 weeks with triplets now. Doctors say that natural is too much on the babies and it's rare to go full term with triplets. I have had a c section with my first one and he did go to the nicu as wel and Breast feeding and bonding was great after he got out. I plan to do the same with my triplets as wel!

I lost triplets last year in october but before that I did a lot of reading. What I found was it puts a ton of stress on the last baby and sometimes you need a lot more help pushing when it is time for the last one. I did read about 1 or 2 ladies do it. But the main thing I saw was it just stresses the babies. But talk to your doctor more they may let you. I hope it goes well which ever route you take. I'll be praying for you.

Depending on how labor starts and progresses, it can really stress Baby C, though if labor goes well, you could definitely do it naturally. But I would recommend finding out (not antagonistically of course) your doctor's reasons for insisting on a csection. We specifically picked our OB, MFM dr, and hospital because they do all they can to ensure you get the birth plan you want (as long as babies are in the right position and healthy). Some hospitals have a very strict policy on delivery of multiples, which ties the hands of doctors using that hospital, or sometimes it's a practice policy.
