Help????

I'm only 20 years old. I got on the depo shot when I was 16 and got back off of it 9 months later and didn't get my period for the 3 years in between. I finally went to the doctor and he told me it's a very good possibility I have PCOS.. He put me on birth control pills and I finally got my period again after 2 weeks of being on it. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years and starting a family has been a big topic of discussion. Possible to get pregnant with PCOS? Only started taking birth control to try and get my period back. Wanna stop taking the birth control but afraid I won't get my period and will mess things up all over again. Any comments or answers???
