flu medicine?

Everything I read is conflicting. Can I take DayQuil for cold and flu? I'm dying over here. Fever, cough, runny nose, runny eyes... need some relief but don't want to lose my supply or hurt baby. 😩

Tylenol, ibuprofen, Benadryl (but watch it bc it can make you drowsy n watch the baby for drowsiness), Claritin, Zyrtec are ok. plain Robitussin is ok (nothing in combination though). Avoid sudafed and menthol, they can dry up milk. Nasal sprays are ok. That's about it. Tea, honey, humidifier, lots of water. You have to just tough it out bc you can't really take the heavy hitters.

Nope, don't take that. I know if you are breastfeeding you can take delsym, but only the original kind. It helped me when I was sick with bronchitis a few weeks ago, and it doesn't affect baby. Don't use cough drops with menthol because that can effect your supply. I used the cough lollipops because they use pectin instead. Other than that you just have to suffer through it.
