I'm always paranoid

I hate being like this because no matter if I'm on birth control or anything every time I have sex I'm always paranoid and i stay paranoid until my period comes even i know I'm safe I can't help it maybe Bc I'm still new to sex and stuff and I'm not ready for a kid I hate overthinking all the time tho
