I've been told my whole life that if you have unprotected sex you will get pregnant. I spent years taking the pill and using condoms because I didn't want to be pregnant and stressing waiting for my peroid because I knew birth control wasn't 100% effective all the time...... now here I am, three months in with lots of unprotected sex and still no pregnancy!
Getting pregnant is much harder than not getting pregnant!
