Woman's original post was making fun of women who are paranoid during their pregnancies and ask 20 questions about random things like nosebleeds and shit and if they should go to the ER. I'm not sorry whatsoever for the way I responded. As someone who I'm pretty sure has lost a baby or is currently TTC, she's not funny.

I personally don't see the point in going to the ER to see if you're pregnant. That's what test are for or your pcp. Now if you're in pain, please go. But just know you will probably be put at the end of the line.

Our hospital actually has an OB ER, specifically for pregnant women. It's great. All hospitals should have that so you're not seen as "wasting" resources or taking away from those in the ER because they have a cough 🙄

After reading that I have so much respect for you, I have had three miss carriages and been in ER twice since becoming pregnant because I thought I could have lost the baby and the nurses and midwives tell me they are happy I came in because it's better to be safe than sorry! X

I'm in the UK and yes I'd be pissed at someone wasting our stretched NHS resources just to check. At the end of the day before 20 odd weeks if somethings wrong there's nothing they can do. 
If you're worried get a home doppler and check with that. It's what we did.
However if you're paying for it and you have the money to spend go for it!

I went to the ER at like 5 weeks along bc I thought I had a uti so I got myself so worked up bout uti causing a miscarriage that I had an anxiety attack. Miscarriage was one of the hardest things I have gone thru n I have gone thru a lot. But I fall in love with the baby from moment I get bfp. So this pregnancy I have been on edge. Went to er I think 3-4 times. Once for the uti, two times for bleeding, and once for stomach bug. Almost went more times but husband calmed me down or I called dr and dr saw me.  I'm sure I'm the patient that the drs r like ugh her again what now. But I'm terrified of losing this baby and this pregnancy has been full of bleeding and issues everytime I imagine holding him he scares the crap outta me. So people can go to hell I'll go to er if I need to.

I don't see anything wrong with going to the ER . Some women want to make sure everything is going good especially if they have a history of miscarriages most time the ob won't see you right away and I know of it was me I would definitely go to the ER to make sure my pregnancy is going good I've done it in the past . I don't see why someone would judge a person for that . If going to the ER will put your mind at ease than you do that

I had lots of bleeding during pregnancy due to SCH they didn't even think baby would make it so every time I was worried if I had any kind of scary pain I would go to the er cause better safe than sorry . and if people get mad at people for that then they can kick rocks
