Guests at hotels are nasty, and some hotels really don't clean as much as you think. 😬

I was for a short time and I hated it. I was also 6 months pregnant and extremely uncomfortable, add being on my feet, bending over and scrubbing tubs and making beds 6 hrs a day, 6 days a week. I was miserable. Plus I really disliked my manager and the hotel owner, they tried to get away with not paying me for my overtime, it took 2 weeks after pay day to actually get my check. I was the most reliable person there, most people wouldn't come in on their on-call days when they were needed, I'd go in if they called when I wasn't on-call. And then most other employees were rude to me. We had our first break after guests were done eating, then we could go and have hotel breakfast. One person would go and tell all the other housekeepers when the guests were cleared out, but no one came and told me, ever... I do in private in-home cleaning. Working at a hotel should have been a lot better experience than it was.
