feed until stops eating?

We introduced solids this week but I'm not sure how much I should give him. My parents and the in laws said to give it until he stops wanting to eat it. My lo drinks about 7 oz in one feeding before we give him the solids. The problem is that he doesn't seem to want to stop! Lol he loves everything we give him! We gave him quite a bit and he still wants to eat more. When we stop he gets upset! I just don't want to overfeeding him. He hasn't cut back on the ounces of milk he's drinking or anything...
