first response digital. anyone ever get false positives?

well i decided to take a first response digital this morning at 8dpo and it took a minute for the display to work it showed up positive but i was a bit curious and opened it up to take a peek at the test strip inside and i only see one line inside instead of two like a normal test. anyone ever have any experience with these things?

You aren't supposed for take them apart, don't worry about what's inside. As long as the test loaded fine and isn't invalid. You're pregnant. Congrats

The clock on the screen unfortunately means the test is invalid. I would wait a couple days and test again.

My last cycle I got a false postive digital... It looked legit because it just said 'yes+' no clock... But all my line tests were negative and flow started two days later... I was actually going to get blood work the day my flow started...

Okay I get you posted this a while ago but I just had this happen to me and I was wondering if you did end up pregnant after this happening.

thats what i was wondering because at first it wouldn't even show at all then popped up a yes 🤔🤷‍♀️ thats the reason i broke it open. which is pointless because not all digital ones are the same they can show just one line or two when preg. 😏 so that's useless lol i am waiting closer to aunt flow and will retest this time with a non digital.
