Changing me name...? Have you ever??

I know it would cost almost $500, but I just like my middle name better.

My middle name is Emma and my first name is Carolyn.

Is this something I will regret? I am 22. I just dread my first name everytime I hear it.. it isn't pretty or have any nicknames to it. For example, Elizabeth has Lizzy, Eliza, Beth, etc.

Has anyone changed their name? Not their last name.

How much exactly didit cost and what were all of the steps to it?
