makeup

i am 14 years old and becoming very interested in makeup. i was hoping to buy a foundation but i dont know what to get as there are so many options! i have dark skin so finding the right shade is proving to be hard. i have read and watched many reviews on the maybelline dream mouse foundation (my shade is honey beige) and am thinking of buying that. i also have dry skin (not like a desert but still dry). any recommendations? thankyou all !
