wedding registry office??? anybody from the uk!

Hi guys quick question me and my partner are looking at venues to book our wedding now, we have chosen to get married in a registry office as it's cheaper but we want too get married in Lichfield registry office but we live in a different district, does anybody know how it works like do I still have too go to my areas registry office to give notice and then contact Lichfield registry office??? Or what? If anybody has any insight and knowledge please help me out 😁 thank you 💕
