Shall I try Clomid? Help?

I have PCOS & My periods are regular than they used to be but I'm still finding it hard to conceive. I've been trying for over 2 years.. I have thought about going back to my doctors and telling them I'd like to go onto clomid. I'm 50/50, I'm confused. A part of me says keep the hope and get pregnant naturally but the other half tells me it wouldn't hurt to try something that may help? 
Does anyone have any advice.. 
Would you recommend clomid..

I just feel like I got told I had pcos and then no help was given to me.

I'm going on round 3 of Clomid still no bfp :( It couldnt hurt to talk to your doctor about it. And if your doctor believes you should be on it I'm sure he will put u on it :) Clomid is rough, make sure its something you need before just going for it. Good Luck hun

I had very irregular periods for years, and after a year of TTC I saw a doctor to make sure everything was okay. She ran a lot of tests but everything came back normal. She prescribed me Femara to help me ovulate and to regulate my periods and I got pregnant on my first cycle. I would talk to your doctor and see if there is a reason you have irregular periods before asking for a specific medication.
