Is it normal to be shaved for labor?

I was shaved for each labor. But I've always shaved every day lol.

Shaving has the potential to increase your risk of infection due to micro cuts the razor causes. Especially since none of us can properly see around the corner to do it well! I might trim but that's it

Only cause of the blood after. And probably will do it a week or so before.

Doctors don't care what your clam looks like. Lol so just do what makes you comfy.

Hair gets pulled in pads so that is what I don't want to have happen but at the same time I don't want to be itching with the regrowth so that's why mine will have a week or so shadow. 😆

This is my first and I honestly don't know what my situation will be down there when the time comes and I'm huge and exhausted 😂 I highly doubt any of the medical professionals care. They look at all different types of vaginas with different amounts of hair all the time.

I think im going to try and keep it neat. I think im going to trim more then shave just because the last time i tried to shave it looked ridiculous because id missed bits 😅 and a patchy foof just looks as bad as a hairy one. So im just going to neaten it up once every week or so.

I shaved for my first labor.  I ended up needing a csection, which they would have shaved me for anyway. I'm glad I shaved first, I would have ended up with terrible razor burn on top of everything else.

At 37 weeks I might attempt it but I won't be doing any "up keep" lol

I got a Brazilian and at 35 weeks and I think I'm good for another month or so lol I'm currently 37 weeks and no hair
