vagina issues

I went for a check up and turns out I had a yeast affection. I think we're all grown here and able to talk about our vaginas. Well my doctor gave me vaginal cream and it came with a tube so you can eject the cream up there. When I pulled the tube out I noticed there was blood at the end of the tube. I'm extremely concern. Is it just swelling from the yeast infection and maybe I poked to far? Or should I call my doctor first thing in the morning?
