umbilical cord around neck

Went for my routine 33 week apt. My cervix was a bit soft so my dr decided to do an ultrasound to measure.. all was good excpet that i have a chubby baby lol and that he has the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck twice.. he has been so active and the dr said it happens a lot. I still freaked out! He said babies do not breathe inside you so the cord being around his neck is not harming him.. the only way it will harm him is if i go into labor and start pushing the baby will go into distress.. that being said dr said i cannot give birth naturally and scheduled me for a c section april 4th which i will be 38 weeks! My original due daye was april 17th.. my fiance dr and nurse all told me not to worry and im trying not to but its hard.. any other mamma's go through this???
