Ovulation cramps...is it too late?

I was cramping and feeling bloated yesterday. Today is my 30% peek day for ovulation according to glow. I had sex today. Is it too late for the egg to be fertilized? Since I was cramping yesterday is the egg already gone? What is actually happening when I cramp? Thank you
