Something that's heavy on my mind

Hello! So prom season is coming up and I'm super excited. I consulted my best friend for advice on the color and thinking she would agree with me and tell me to go for the bright pastel blue I wanted, i was shocked when she said noo dark blue goes better with your skin tone. 0.0

Mind you she is Latina and much Paler than me....but um hello Lupita N'yongo?!?! One of the darkest women in Hollywood and can rock ANY Shade with ferocity.

Needless to say I plan to stick with my beautiful baby blue dress
