Bf leaving

Hey guys, my boyfriend left for work this afternoon, hell be gone for a week. Is it normal to start to miss him right away? At night i cant even sleep in the bed because it makes me sad... maybe im just clingy, it just doesnt feel the same when hes not here. The bed feels so empty with just me in it. I feel like ill be fine but being alone with no vehicle, no friends and nothing to do. I always start missing him like crazy.
