Do you obey landlord occupancy rules?

E.g only 3 adults can reside in your apartment.

Visitors can not stay more than 3 consecutive days.

If we have to go against our land lord rules we call and talk to him first most of the time he had no problem. Unless there a big event in town he doesn't care at all as long as our unit isn't destroyed and we get our rent paid.

We pretty much have. We only did it a few times. One where my friend stayed with us for about 3 weeks because she was having problems with her bf and his mom called the cops on him and told my friend she had to stay somewhere else, but we had a 3 bedroom so it didnt go against occupancy and i really didnt stay there because i stayed the night at my bf's house so she had my room to herself. And the other was this past year when my brother needed a place to stay and we now have a 2 bedroom but same thing i stay nights with my bf so he just took my bed and shared the room with my younger brother for about 2 months. So again we didnt go over occupancy but im the one on the lease so technically i live here. Our managers have been pretty cool about it because its not permanent plus there are others in the complex that do much worse.

Yes. We respect our landlord... and fire marshalls code. Our place is only 700 sq feet though, so it'd be a tight squeeze to fit over three people!
