Is it likely I'll be able to pump and feed my daughter with a bottle at one month old? I plan to breastfeed for atleast 6 months but am curious as to when I can bottle feed her breast milk

I was told to find a bottle woth the most natural nipple type possible and to breast feed FIRST then give the bottle for anything extra baby wants. So that way he knew he still had to go to boob first and was told to start doing that only after he got a good latch down. After I had that established I could go back and fourth for meals fine but every baby is different. I only was able to breastfeed for a short period of time though as my production just kinda stopped :/. He did switch between breast and bottle fine though for while I was able to breast feed. :) if you ever need help you could always ask for a lactation consultants number or talk to the pediatrician. The Dr I took my son to was all about trying to breast feed as long as possible so she was full of info!

You can do it whenever. It just might be a little difficult to get her to latch again. My lactation consultant told me to introduce 1 bottle a day so that when I go to work he doesn't freak out that it's not coming from my boob.
