any babies not mobile?

My boy is so content to sit and watch. Not crawl, not walk, sometimes scoots on his but, and two weeks from a year old. Any other mommas whose babes don't want to move?

I'm having the same issues with my son. He doesn't crawl or walk but he sometimes moves around on his butt.... I thought I was the only one that was worried about their one year old not being mobile

He might just skip crawling and decide to stand up one day.  Some babies are like that!

Mine is! We asked a therapist about it and her pediatrician. Both said she's fine she just isn't motivated. Some babies take a little longer to find the motivation to move. We signed her up for Gymboree play and she's starting to scoot on her butt, maybe try that. Don't worry though, all babies are different.

Try and make him do more for himself, instead of bringing him toys and such... urge him to get them for himself from a short distance. My LO will be one on Sunday and doesn't want to walk on her own yet, but she crawls all day and climbs lots. She pulled herself up on the bathtub yesterday and lifted her leg to try and climb in 😂 if you are worried, make sure to talk to the ped at his one year appointment.
